Sunday 24th October Round Up
Another Strong Display For The Seconds...

Nomads 2 continued their good form with a solid performance against Supernova.
Trading goals in the early stages of the match, Terry & Thomas scoring from long and Olly taking a neat goal under the post being highlights.
Supernova however kept the score close and they had the lead briefly but with only a few minutes of the first half remaining Nomads pulled out a two goal lead.
Coach Butters called a time out to rally his team into holding that lead and they proceeded to sink two more before half time to put them 11-7 up at the break.
The good form continued in the second half with Amy Cole scoring impressively from long as the girls fought well to restrict the danger from their Supernova opponents whilst remaining a goal threat at the other end.
There was a small lull in the goalscoring midway through the second half with Supernova getting back to within touching distance of a comeback but the goals flowed again with Olly, Thomas and Cara all finding the Korf before the game was done and Nomads ran out 18-13 winners.
With every player registering on the scoresheet Nomads can be proud of their days work, Helen Carswell top scored for the girls with four and the ever reliable Olly Bell sunk five to top score for the boys.
